Default IDE toolbox problem

Hi,

Visual Studio 2005:

I have a strange IDE behaviour:
In my laptop I have installed VS2005 and selected C# as primary language
during the installation.
In my desktop I have installed VS2005 and selected C++ as primary language
during the installation.

They look slightly different (e.g. Output message/compiling windows) and
that is fine.

On the laptop, if I add in my solution another window form project or
project with a visual component in it then in the toolbox appears a new tab
called custom-controls (or something really similar) with the window form or
the new component. This allow me to drag and drop the objects in the form of
my main project.

The same solution opened on my desktop (C++ as primary language) compile and
runs fine but the toolbox doesn't display the custom controls tab with the
window form or the new component. So i cannot drag new ones on the form.!?!

Is it due to the two different primary language? I don't think so.....
I tried to reset the toolbar no changes.
Is there any option that I need to turn on?

Is there any way to change the primary language after the installation?

Many Thanks,
Filippo

Try this:

I cannot be sure, but this procedure may help you...

Choose Tools->Import and Export Settings...
Select Reset All Settings, then click Next
Select whether you wish to save the current settings, then click Next
(You'll now see a list of settings options - roles if you will)
Choose General Development or one of the languages, then click Finish.
