Design mode is slow

  1. Default Design mode is slow

Hi, does anyone have any suggestion on making the software faster?
I have try visual studio 2003 and the new visual basic .net 2005 beta 1,
both version using visual basic design mode(create form layout with
    controls) its very sluggish.
    I have a p4 3.2ghz with 1gig ram on winxp/sp2 and its still slow. When i
continue to add more form, the software sometime does a refresh on the form
    and it very slow.

    Thanks!

The Beta is going to be slow, you cannot help that.

As for VS.Net 2003, I am running it on a 720 MHz with ~500 MB ram and
haven't seen a problem. Are you using a lot of custom controls that make
    calculations at design time?
