| Hi all, Does anyone know a way to inhibit the split-screen mode on startup when opening more than one file? I know already how to inhibit the startup-screen, but this does not inhibit the splitting if two or more files are opened, e.g. by typing emacs file1 file2 & Of course, I could simply use the C-x 1 shortcut every time after starting emacs, but this is rather annoying in my opionon. Even in the initialization group I didn't find any option to toggle the initial splitting of the emacs window. Also Google doesn't find any useful hint. Does anyone have an idea? Ingo |
