Default [vim] Any way to center (left to right) about the cursor position?

I am looking for a command to center (left to right, don't care about up
and down) about the current cursor position. Searched, but didn't see
anything.

see ":help 'sidescroll'". It will only work when the cursor is far
enough from the start and end of the line, and of course, if 'nowrap' is
set. A cursor at the start of a line will always appear at the left margin.
