  1. Default Eudora 7 and Vista

A couple months back I installed Vista and Eudora 7.1.0.9 would no
longer allow me to use adress book to select more than two names at a
time. so I went back to XP. Has there been any headway to having
    address book work with Vista?

7.1.0.9 paid (I copied everything from an XP machine to the Vista Home
Basic machine). I can choose more than 1 address from the address book and
hit the To: button to get the addresses properly inserted into a new email.

    How many more than 1?

More than two? (at which point people start reporting the problem)

    For example:
    http://eudorabb.qualcomm.com/showthread.php?t=12689
    http://eudorabb.qualcomm.com/showthread.php?t=12449

Also independent of Eudora, in Windows Explorer
(with some versions and modes of Vista)
    http://www.winforumz.com/vista/Explo...pict13845.html
(search for "bags" or "bagMRU" for an MS-suggested work-around)

The prevailing opinion is that "It's a known Vista bug"

If any victim tries the registry hack, please let us know whether it works!

I've had the same problem and others posted possible solutions that I
have not tried since it is not a major concern. There is always Mozilla
Thunderbird which does not have this problem.

I now tried 3. That worked fine. I then tried 5, but only the first 2
    worked (alphabetical, not ctrl-click order).

I won't yet try the purported fixes.

My Mailwasher launches Eudora under Vista if I leave a header untouched.
I have old free version of Mailwasher if that makes a difference.
I've just learned to live with only being able to select 2 addresses in
    Eudora.
