Apparently not, so I'll make a guess. Try opening your Eudora address book and selecting someone who is no longer on the Quick Recipients list. If the "Quick Recipients" check box is empty, click once to put a checkmark in it. If it already has a checkmark, click to remove it then click again to put it back in. That may fix the problem. (Post back and let us know.) I can't remember now what application it was or what function, but I did have a problem a couple of years ago with my Mac and a checkbox not functioning properly. Toggling it like I describe above would fix the problem for a long time, then I'd have to do it again. I always suspected it was an OS problem, and not the application's fault. Agh! I've been assuming that you're using Eudora on OS X. If you're using it in Classic, then you should first rebuild the desktop before trying anything else. A desktop in need of rebuilding makes Eudora do very strange things. -- Kathy |

It was easier than that/ I opened my address book, picked a frieind, checked teh Quick Recipient box, and he was back on the list. > > I can't remember now what application it was or what function, but I did > have a problem a couple of years ago with my Mac and a checkbox not > functioning properly.
