Hi John,

Thank you for the help.

All these links explain how to back up TB1 and TB2. Does it all applies
to TB3 as well?

BTW, for TB1 and TB2 I used a nice utility Mozbackup. Anything similar
for TB3?

Thanks,

gm

Sounds likely, but TB3 doesn't seem to be even released yet

See any TB3 here yet?
http://www.getthunderbird.com/
http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/

Perhaps you can check it out and see.

How about newsgroup mozilla.support.thunderbird
on news server news.mozilla.org ?
(not available anywhere else)

Besides Mozilla's own forums and "zine,"
aren't there also forums for "Eudora 8"?

Not that there are any signs of life on Qualcomm's:

This next one is "spam city" (send Batman
http://emailman.newsgrouphosting.com...udora.penelope

Where else to look?

Maybe right here, then -- speak up, folks... Is anyone actually using E8?

No, it is not. It was an act of desperation. TB2 was acting up, and
did not know what to do. So I took a plunge. Everything is working OK,
but I am going out of town for a couple of weeks and I need to move the
mail to the laptop.

Thank you for your help.

I'm going to go through and delete the spam. Posting now requires an
account, which may kill use of the forum along with killing the spam. I
won't be happy if I lose legit users AND still end up with spam!

Thanks,

Andrew

I've cleaned out the spam. So far, none has reappeared, but no posts of
any sort either!

Perhaps related to the speed of Penelope development?
(last update to beta was last February?)

Is there any sign that Qualcomm's people (or any people)
are still working on it?

Some possible signs of life on other worlds, after all:
