| Using Eudora 6.2.4 Must have been something I did, unknowingly. Suddenly the "delete" button is missing from the tool bar. Went to "Preferences", but nothing there tells me how to get it back, and "Help" was no help, either. Am hoping someone here can help me. TIA Rosemary -- To e-mail me remove the obvious before @ and change sinuswave to sinewave. |

Assuming you have a Mac - hold down the Command key and move the mouse to the toolbar. Note that the cursor changes to a "left and right arrow" when you point to the edge of an existing button. Move the mouse to the place you want the button to be, then click the mouse. This will create a new button and bring up a "Toolbar Button Creation" dialog. You can then choose any menu item or use a keyboard shortcut to get the desired command. The Delete command is at the bottom of the Message menu. If you want to remove a toolbar button, or change its assigned command, Command-click on the button, and then click "Remove Toolbar Button" or choose a new command as you see fit. (Cancel if you did it by mistake.) Thanks, David. That did the trick. It doesn't look like the original, but it works.
