| Okay, I've been going slightly insane trying to forward mail from a listserve/bulk email. I've found this page: http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2012hq.html Which states I have to edit: <x-eudora-option:NoAutoSendPrecedence=bulk,list> <x-eudora-option:NoAutoResponseHeaders=errors-to:,list-> Now I've tried doing that, many, many times, but Eudora keeps popping up a dialog box asking me which application should handle the x-eudora- option. I select Eudora, and nothing happens. I tried clicking the link again, and the "Choose Application" box pops up again. I've spent about an hour searching Google, the Eudora forum, and other pages, and I can't find an answer to my problem (just this post with someone experiencing the same thing: http://eudorabb.qualcomm.com/showthr...-eudora-option). Has anyone else experienced this? Is there another way I can change these settings. Unfortunately I need to do this by Wednesday night as I'm going out of town and need to forward these emails to a co-worker before I leave. Help? Thanks, Gord |

In my experience, all of them use x-eudora-settings and not x-eudora-option as your example cites. Maybe that's a Windows thing. But get that list and search through it. -- Steve W. Perhaps <http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2116hq.html> is better. It includes a link to download the complete list as a text file. -- Steve W. Jackson Montgomery, Alabama |

Jackson > Montgomery, Alabama I just looked around some more and came across a similar post to do with not being able to forward the emails. <x-eudora-setting:273> When checked, Eudora will let you use filters to redirect even list mail. If you turn this on and make a mail loop, don't say I didn't warn you. I've turned this on, but still can't forward the emails. Whatever, I give up. So many things to do before I go away and I don't have time to mess around with Eudora. Thanks for the help, Steve. Gord |

"X-Eudora-Setting" is a similar thing for Macintosh, but adjusts settings by number. It's a bit frustrating when Eudora has information in their FAQ that only pertains to the PC version, yet doesn't make any reference to the fact, or provide the alternate Mac setting. Anyway, that setting I posted earlier worked after I deleted the filter I was trying to use it with, and set up a new one. Thanks Steve and John, you've helped me solve a big problem before my trip. Alright, now I need to pack ![]() Gord |
