Default Eudora and 2 ISPs

my e mail address is @ verizon.net and Verizon is my home ISP DSL
provider

I am temporarily located in AT&T territory and have a DSL account with
att

I can still receive e-mail in my temporary location at my verizon
account using eudora and and their POP server incoming.verizon.net but
when I try to send mail using either Verizion's SMTP server
outgoing.verizon.com or AT&T's SMTP server smtp.att.yahoo.com the
message does not get sent and I get an error message .

AT&Ts tech support only does the basics for Eudora and Apple's Mail.
Similar problems occur with Apple's mail

Has any one out there solved this problem or should I be resigned to
using web mail.

Hints. TIA

Each Eudora personality has only one "user name" and corresponding password,
generally used for POP mail fetching.

If that same username and password works also for an SMTP server
(usually provided by the same ISP),
or of course if no authentication (login)
is even required for sending mail, then you can specify
the outgoing (SMTP) server in the same personality;
otherwise you need a separate personality
for every different username/password combination.

You can tell personalities whose passwords don't also work
for SMTP servers to let some other personality's SMTP server
send any outgoing mail for them, by designating one single
personality to be "the sender for everybody" (a/k/a "relay"),
and then tell those other personalities to "use the SMTP relay."

This is also discussed in the following general post,
which also often comes up when dealing with ISP settings:

Setting "Port numbers" in Eudora (Windows and Macintosh)
