How to install UFRAW as Gimp-Plugin : Graphics

This is a discussion on How to install UFRAW as Gimp-Plugin within the Graphics forums in Theory and Concepts category; Hi, knows anyone on which path I must install UFRAW to use it as Plugin inside gimp? The installation wizard does not detect the gimp installation directory automatically I've tried to install ufraw in the gimp installation directory but it does not work. But as standalone it works fine. I would be happy if anyone could help me Thanks a lot, André...

Kann das sein, dass du das einfach nicht findest ? Ich
kann jetzt nicht für Windows sprechen, aber versuch
mal eine (von UFRAW unterstützte) Raw-Datei zu öffnen,
dabei springt UFRAW an. Ist zumindest bei mir so (Gimp
2.3.6/Linux).

Hi Folks,

in the UFRaw installation directory exists a directory named
"lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\" it contains the file "ufraw-gimp.exe" I've
copied this file into the right directory of gimp which has the name.
Then it's necessary to copy the files "libexif-12.dll" and
"liblcms-1.dll" in the same directory of gimp or adding these files to
the path. Now it UFRaw should work fine from inside gimp.

Bye,
André

Hi Michael,

Sorry, I've answered in my natural language, because the answer of my
posting was written in these. I've posted the solution in English again.

Bye,
André

In that case please note some mistakes:
- a missing comma: "versuche bekomme" -> "versuche, bekomme"
- a missing comma: "Meldung die" -> "Meldung, die"
- a missing whitespace: "nichtunterstützt" -> "nicht unterstützt"

That is a little off-topic here - please note the f'up (or reply
directly via e-mail).
