PDF3D Adds View Capture from AVS/Express for 3D PDF Publishing
PDF3D technology is today enhanced with view capture from Advanced Visual
Systems' AVS/Express enabling the publication of 3D documents for the free
Adobe® Reader and Acrobat® 3D PDF platforms.
PDF3D™ (http://www.pdf3d.co.uk) technology from Visual Technology Services
is now upgraded to integrate with and capture 3D scenes from AVS/Express;
a data visualisation system from Advanced Visual Systems Inc., who are
widely recognised as specialists in data ****ysis and visualisation. The
capture facility is a giant step towards 3D publishing which harnesses the
free Adobe® PDF Reader and Adobe Acrobat®. Integrating the PDF3D SDK
toolkit into AVS/Express based applications enables direct publishing of
documents containing 3D PDF interactive content, avoiding proprietary
viewers.

Development Manager at Adobe, focused on the new Acrobat 3D.
Doug talks about the new Acrobat 3D, how Adobe is approaching the
design & manufacturing market, and how PDF is changing from a static
copy of digital documents to a communication and collaboration file
format.
