I'm looking for tutorials that can clarify the following problem:

1 - Actors in front of a large green-screen.
2 - Tripod Mounted Camera.
3 - Computer Generated Background

Imagine, for example, a scene in the desert: two people walking around and
talking.

As the Actors walk around the Camera Pans and Tilts to follow them. Sometimes
the Camera Pans from actor to actor.

Rather than match and render each frame of the CGB, wouldn't it be easier
(assuming there are no changes in the background) to render one very-big CGB
plate (e.g. 5x original resolution, from the camera position) and track over it
to match the actor frames?

How is something like this set up? Are there any tutorials to cover this kind
of thing?

As always, any help is appreciated.

TIA
