I'm running Windows XP and upgraded to GIMP 2.4 this week. The
installer came with GTK+ 2.10.14, and the DLLs were installed in the
GIMP folder.
I then upgraded Pidgin to 2.2.2., which included the install for GTK+
2.12.1 rev A that was installed in a separate GTK+ folder (under
Common Files).
I guess my question is this configuration okay? Will GIMP only see
the GTK+ in its own folder? Will it not attempt to use the later
version in the Common Files?
