Default Bug in PNG terminal?

Hello,

I use gnuplot 4.2 on my openSuSE 10.3 system. The PNG terminal seems to have
a bug when giving the terminal size parameter. The default size is 640x480
which works, however doubling this size does only work for the X-scale but
not for y. Eg look at this session:

$ gnuplot
gnuplot> set terminal png size 1280 960 # 2* (640x480)
gnuplot> set output '| display png:-'
gnuplot> plot sin(x)

The resulting output is a graphics of 1280x480 pixel on my system. Am I
missing something?

Thanks
Rainer

yes! a comma:
Syntax:
set terminal png
{{no}transparent} {{no}interlace}
{tiny | small | medium | large | giant}
{font <face> {<pointsize>}}
{size <x>,<y>} {{no}crop}
{{no}enhanced}
{<color0> <color1> <color2> ...}
