Thanks. I get a window with "Error signature" and
AppName: pspi.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: focusmagic.8bf
ModVer: 3.0.1.0 Offset: 00004244
in the contents.
Trying to run Focus Magic plugin from GIMP via pspi.
Runs fine from Irfanview and Elements.
pspi downloaded from Tor's site:
http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/pspi.html

go figure...

No, I meant link to what plugins you want to use. I have the
pspi one.

Is the plugin you're trying free or commercial? I think that
pspi works but only on plugins for certain versions of PhotoShop.
Maybe won't work for plugins that can only work on latest
versions?

Commercial, been using it from Irfanview and
Elements 2.0 for over a year.

PSPI doesn't exactly get much maintenance, as being able to run
Photoshop plug-ins isn't one of GIMP's goals. I'm not sure if it is
even possible to maintain it, given that the necessary Photoshopp SDK
is closed.

Anyone interested in helping should contact Tor Lillqvist, the PSPI
author.
