Gateway Laptop Repair
Gateway is history a friend has a Gateway Laptop only one year old. He says
it won't power up at all and people have told him to through it in the
trash. I told him that depends on what is actually wrong. If it is the
power supply the motherboard would probably have to be replaced. I think
that would be cheaper than a new laptop.
Does anyone know of a dealer that will fix Gateway Laptops? Not sure who
actually makes these I know it has to be some brand of laptop with Gateway's
name on it.
Perferibly in the Portland, Oregon area or will ship if necessary.
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Gateway Laptop Repair
If you cannot do the diagnosis and repair yourself, then it will probably be
too costly to send it out for repairs. Exceptions: replacing a RAM chip, a
CPU, A CD drive, a HD, or a battery. However, all of these the user should
be able to do him/her self anyway.
