Folks,
A few days ago, I started seeing a problem with my mail server. Messages
arrive at my imap client (OE on Win98) already marked as read, so the unread
mail count is always 0.

My system is: Fetchmail - Postfix - Amavisd - imapd.

Here are the results of the tests I have done:
Mail sent internally (across the lan, not external servers) is ok.
If I check my mail at my ISP using their webmail client, everything is ok.
Some people in the office use POP3, and their mail is ok.
Mail created by the mail system (recipient unknown, virus notifications,
etc) is ok.

So, it would seem that the imap server is in some way to blame, but
obviously not all the time.

I've been googling like mad for the past couple of days, and I can't find
anything, apart from the occasional reference to Cyrus-imap, but no
solutions.

Any ideas very welcome.
