Default imap restore

Hi

I lost all my emails from my imap server and have no offline cached version.

however, two weeks ago i connected via ftp and downloaded the raw files.

The files are:

Inbox
Drafts
Sent
Deleted

the files have no file extension

If i open them in notepad, all my emails with headers are visible.

I am trying to restore the emails to a new imap server, i connected via FTP
and uploaded the raw files

However they are not readable by outlook etc.

It seems that my new imap server uses a different format to store emails.

Each imap folder now has a corresponding .XXX folder

e.g.

..INBOX

with multiple sub folders such as:

courierimapkeywords
cur
new
temp

How can i restore my files that i downloaded via ftp two weeks ago

thanks

For each folder, run "reformail -s deliverquota $HOME/Maildir <FILE".

Then move the messages, using your IMAP client, to the appropriate folder.
