IMAP download

Hi
Is there any way I can find out by looking at my settings if my gmail
emails have been downloaded in the past using IMAP or POP?

Nothing in Gmail tells you if your messages were downloaded by your personal
mail software.

The only thing you can do is look at the messages you have in your mail
tool, and compare them, by hand, to the ones in your gmail mailbox.
