| I having a problem using the SendMessage api within a custom dll component called from IIS. It worked under W2K SP3 but not W2K SP4. My dll component still works under W2K SP4 if I run it within a VB/PC environment. I also can make it work under IIS but only if I use the Clipboard.Getdata instead of SendMessage. The error I get when my component is just registered is "Server threw an exception". If I install it as a component in IIS In-Service...my asp page doesn't respond and just hangs. I have looked into security etc...but nothing seems to work. Has anyone seen this? What approachs can I take with IIS to figure this out because I feel I am missing something either with security or ??? |
