I set up FTP on a 64-bit Itanium (733 Mhz) server with Windows
2003 Server Enterprise Edition installed. WebDAV and VSS are the only other
things I installed.

The transfer rate using FTP is at least 5 times slower on this Itanium
machine versus FTP on our 32-bit Windows 2000 Server.

Our 32-bit and 64-bit servers are both in the same network, behind the same
firewall, and have the same network settings.

Does anyone have an idea why the FTP transfer rate could be so much slower
on the 64-bit Itanium server? Thanks a lot.
