| I'm not sure I understand the problem. I believe I understand that SMTP does show up through add/remove programs and you have installed it. Does the SMTP virtual directory show up in the IIS MMC? Is SMTP installed but shows a yellow icon in the IIS MMC? Where there any errors in the install? What OS are you running? Are there any errors in the event viewer?
