Server request Username & Password for dynamic pages only - Inetserver

Hello,

Please refer this KB article and make sure you have set default user rights
and permissions.

Also you could try and check following:

1.Enable auditing and track failure events.

2.Find out access denied errors by using with filemon and regmon from
www.sysinternals.com

3.Check event logs.

4.Is the application pool running under network service?

5.Check local security policy for denied setting or follow the above
article.

Hi,

I had the same problem.
Looks like a bug in IIS because after restarting the IISadmin service, it all worked fine.
