Limit on the number of users

This is a discussion on Limit on the number of users within the Inetserver forums in Microsoft Tools category; IIS 5.1 on XP Pro initially had a limit of 10 connections, to increase the number of allowed connections I used the MetaEdit tool from Microsoft to increase the number of allowed connections, but that doesn't seem to help and I still get the following error: HTTP 403.9 - Access Forbidden: Too many users are connected' Please advise me of what can be done Thank you, Samuel...

The limit is set by the OS, not by IIS. For >10 connections you will need
to use one of the server OS's.
