| I have an issue where after my domain controller is rebooted IIS starts prior to AD authentication being available resulting in the IUSR and IWAM accounts not having any privileges preventing my application pools from functioning. Does anyone know a workaround for this besides performing an IIReset? |

| How do you have IUSR and IWAM user accounts if it's a DC ??? Local accounts are locked if you have a DC on a machine! -- Regards, ma_khan http://www.iisworkstation.com "Scott Garrett" wrote: > I have an issue where after my domain controller is rebooted IIS starts prior > to AD authentication being available resulting in the IUSR and IWAM accounts > not having any privileges preventing my application pools from functioning. > Does anyone know a workaround for this besides performing an IIReset? |

| The accounts are created as domain users and are stored in AD under the Users container. | IUSR_computername and IWAM_computername (as a matter of fact, any ID running the AppPool) are suppose to be local machine accounts as well probably for the purpose of solving your problem... Sorry having said that wouldn't solve your problem any better .. but IIS on DC is usually a tough choice... -- Regards, ma_khan http://www.iisworkstation.com "Scott Garrett" wrote: > The accounts are created as domain users and are stored in AD under the Users > container. > > "ma_khan" wrote: > > > How do you have IUSR and IWAM user accounts if it's a DC ??? > > > > Local accounts are locked if you have a DC on a machine! > > > > -- > > Regards, > > ma_khan > > http://www.iisworkstation.com > > > > > > "Scott Garrett" wrote: > > > > > I have an issue where after my domain controller is rebooted IIS starts prior > > > to AD authentication being available resulting in the IUSR and IWAM accounts > > > not having any privileges preventing my application pools from functioning. > > > Does anyone know a workaround for this besides performing an IIReset? |
