IIS Host Header Redirect won't work with Safari (MAC) browsers??

This is a discussion on IIS Host Header Redirect won't work with Safari (MAC) browsers?? within the Inetserver forums in Microsoft Tools category; Anybody know what the work around might be? Also, the reason we built a host header redirect was because we needed to tie a DNS to a subdirectory of a Sharepoint Site collection.. One Sharepoint site with many subdirectory (site collections). Needed http:/a to map to http://myserver/sites/a .. is there another way around a host header redirect site? Thanks for any help or information....
