User login with username and password

This is a discussion on User login with username and password within the JDBC JAVA forums in Framework and Interface Programming category; hi all, i am trying to implement a userlogin page through a postgres table which contains the usernames and passwords. i am implementing a javabased project with a postgres backend and a html frontend. i am able to login the user through the DB username and password, but i want to include multiple users hence the table approach. can somebody please guide/advise me of how to implement this task....
