LabVIEW Web Server Application?

1. Default LabVIEW Web Server Application?

I have a LabVIEW application that allows you to enter some basic information
from pull-downs and numerical entries and then looks up information from a
lookup table and converts the numerical entries via calculations that also
come from the lookup table. I'd like to make this application work from a
website. It would need to work for as many people who are logged onto the
website at one time and it would probably need to work without them having
to install the LabVIEW runtime engine (i.e. needs to be quick and simple for
all users!).

Is this possible and if so, how would I get started? I may have to learn or
find someone who could reprogram this in Java but I thought it would be
worth asking if it can be done mostly in LabVIEW first.

I need a web interface that will work with 1000's of users at one time.

Tightvnc like all web server is entirely dependent on your resources on the server machine. If your requirements are that high, a simple scheme may not work.
When you say 1000's are they all open and actively using it or are they potential users running? That makes a bit of difference. My guess if you have 1000s of users operating simultaneously, the Labview approach is not going to work (Remeber only a guess).

You may be right about what I can do with LabVIEW. I may have to do this in
Java.

I did check out TightVNC just because I happen to use logmeinrescue for
other applications and TightVNC is free. One problem with it for now is
that it does not yet support VISTA. I'll keep my eye on it though.
