    Is it possible to measure frequency without a counter module? All I have is a cDAQ with 9205, 9221 and 9263 modules.

    You can measure frequencies using an ****og channel, but it takes a bit more programming.  If you search for zero crossings, you should be able to calculate the frequency.by measuring the time between zero crossings and inverting it.
