| hi I want to call usb camera in labview and set the properties without showing the property window of camera manufacturer I want to set the properties in labview window while running the vi. for that i have used the IMAQ USB propertyPage.vi but it opens the window provided by the camera manufacturer, which i dont want to be opened.how does IMAQ USB PropertyPage.vi library function works plz help me untitled.jpg: http://forums.ni.com/attachments/ni/...1/untitled.jpg |

| That is exactly the use of USB propertypage vi.Just delete that vi from ur program u shld display the image in your front panel.define your settings and then run the vi without upp vi.It should work. |

| muks - Thanks for your response! Chances are, this may be the only way for you to change the properties of the USB camera programmatically in LabVIEW...unless the camera manufacturer exposes these options for ActiveX control.I would follow what muks says. |

| Hi, I have a Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 camera and I use it with imaqUSB. It works correctly but it is always starting at resolution 640x480!!!
