Daniel highlights the way forward. Lobby the distros to include UCB. Point out that it will be on the $100 Laptop, and needs to be in their distro for compatibility. KTurtle had good PR and looks pretty. Neither prettiness or PR is a major problem- challenges that could be matched by UCB. Still if MSW with all its addons, could be recompiled as KDELogo...
