# signs in page title

  1. Default # signs in page title

When I go to bookmark my page I see a 10 pound (#) signs after the page title.
Instead it's suppose to read just read, Photos and Videos.

So if the # signs are not hand coded, any idea why they are there? Is it to do
with the 10 flash videos on the page? If so, does anyone know a work around on
getting rid of the # signs?

    Thanks for your help.

I can bookmark it in Fx3 & IE6 and the resulting bookmark does NOT have an
    octothorpe (#)

But given the byte size of the page it probably won't be a problem. When a
page takes a seeming eternity to download very few visitors will wait for
it. Subsequently, even fewer will have any interest in bookmarking it.
Seriously, would you return to a restaurant that has horrible service?

You really should rethink your design and find a way to serve faster loading
pages if you want traffic to this site.

Hmmm, I don't see any # in a bookmark in FF. Also, I have to agree with Walt.
Even with high speed broadband, the site is unusable for me due to it's weight.
It's been loading for several minutes now and still has a long way to go. I
would have given up a long time ago. I suggest organizing it another way.
