| the option isn't there. Could my problem have something to do with dpi. i'm using the default 72 |

| Look under export in illustrator and see if you can export to illustrator legacy there. The DPI has nothing to do with it no. |

| I was able to, but the images are still rasterized when i bring it into fireworks. I import and it brings up the vector file options. That seems to be rasterizing it. |

| I was also wondering. When i bring in a raster image it asks for dpi. Is this for viewing purposes only or is this for compression? |
