| Paevo, are you saying Myriad is available to your other apps but not FW? I have the whole Myriad Pro set showing up just fine in FWCS3 The font may be included with your CS3 suite as an extra if you don't find that you have it loaded. Can also buy it: at www.myfonts.com or https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/sto...&event=display FontPackage&code=1706 |

| Why all the question marks and exclamation marks? There are plenty of free fonts, but many you have to pay for and you can pay substantially more than £35 as well. There is a limit to how many fonts FWs can handle ( Iforget the figure) the only way for it not to show is if you have exceeded that limit or it has been corrupted some how. I have yet to be able to justify buying this one. But I want it. (Is it still avarice if you want something you have to pay for?) Unless they're new or very special, most professional type faces are priced between $20 and $50. |

| Why? Do you expect them to be free? Are font designers not expected to earn a living? | "Are font designers not expected to earn a living?" PJR, it's a common font; might as well omit Times New Roman in the latest version of MS Word... |

| Common does not equal free, unfortunately. And personally for web use I couldn't care less it they did omit Times New Roman, I just doesn't work on the web. IMO,but I take your point :-) Peter ______________________ "Paevo Kelley" <webforumsuser@macromedia.com> wrote in message news:g9781c$rs9$1@forums.macromedia.com... | "Are font designers not expected to earn | a living?" | PJR, it's a common font; might as well omit Times New Roman in the latest version of MS Word... |

| Perhaps Paevo you should rent the move "Helvetica". It's about the font obviously, but provides some insight into the significance of the typeface, it's history, and it's cultural impact. Also, did you know that the font Apple uses for the iPod is based off of Myriad? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myriad_(typeface) |
