My recommendation is to add your request to the Adobe wish list; maybe
they can reinstate this feature, unless there was some functional reason
why it was removed. There were many changes when FW moved from FW 4 to
FW MX; it's even possible the feature got lost in the shuffle.

Sorry for my delay in response, I live in different time zone :-)
I have just discovered the option mentioned above and tested it. I had to be
blind...
There is a result of my test. Shared slices force the same its name on every
page. So when I export page 2 it overwritting common slices exported from
page 1 and so on. It is very easy to lost control on what we really want to
do, especially when we have a lot of projects and every one of them needs
special treatment. Conclusion is that sharing layers is good functionality
for sharing graphics - not slices.

Anyway - thanks for your help. I will try to send feature request to Adobe
what I have already done a couple of times...
