CS4 FW Internal Error

Has anyone a solution to the Fireworks not launching/Internal Error issue? I've read a good bit of threads and no single solution has worked.

Did you try running the CS4 clean up script?
It's a utility to uninstall ALL CS4 programs. This way you can make a clean
reinstall. Maybe someone installed beta versions before of CS4? Beta versions
have been known to cause problems.

Hi Arun,

I have run the CS4 cleanup and nothing changed when I reinstalled CS4. I
still receive "Fireworks cannot launch. An Internal Error Occurred."

Any help is appreciated.

My system is Windows XP SP3, 2.4GHz, 2Gigs. of RAM. I upgraded from FW 8, or
Macromedia Studio 8.
