I'm finding Fireworks CS4 very unstable. One of my main problems at the moment is that when i'm trying to export a very simple PNG document via CSS / HTML I get an error message saying 'TypeError islist has no properties'. This prevents me from exporting the html / css file. I've enclosed a link to the file and also a screenshot - please can someone help, this is a nightmare. http://predicaments.com/DROPBOX/ http://predicaments.com/DROPBOX/

Hi jbee, Somehow it seems all the div elements which you have used in your example.png file are not having proper attributes due to which you are getting the error on export. I tried setting a stroke value as "white" itself (such that the original design's look does not get effected), to all of the div elements and exported the png file as CSS/HTML. It exported fine without any issues. Try it out and let us know if this helps. --Arun

I'm not sure exactly what you mean here. Can you email me the PNG file you modified? I set all my div elements (rectangle boxes) with white stroke values but still get the same error.

jbee- how did you create the Rectangle (divs'). It appears that all you (white div's) are 'Paths' with a Solid Fill of white. I believe the CSS Export utilizies Rectangle Primitives to represent the div sections. Remove the white areas you have, and redraw them in using the Rectangle Tool, Solid Fill of white, BUT don't ungroup the rectangles. Leave them as created. h

This worked - thanks so much for your help here everyone. Fireworks is my favourite design software but there seems a steep learning curve with the CS4 variant!

Your welcome ![]() Have a look through the CSS documentation to get a better handle on the 'Rules/Usage' for the CSS Export feature here -http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Fireworks/10.0_Using/WSF26E374A-45C0-482b-92E7-8BBA 71F98D8D.html h
