| Ok - good news and bad news its the backup system that the activation system doesnt agree with ! we havent been able to do a dual boot system either - both these results obviously rules out serious use and renders CS3 a toy system. (albeit expensive) i havent noticed any mention anywhere that either of these should be in violation of the already ridiculuosly restrictive licence terms. it is ofcourse not ruled out that there might be ways to do such - only that we couldnt figure - which is bad enough. i realize the registration system is outsourced and that there is a ton of trouble trying to maintain the backward compatibility. dropping those restrictions might just make flash survive silverlight considering the base and headstart. but hopefully the core developer team (being real programmers) will form a new company on their own soon - and deliver a usable system with a reasonable pricing and not the least a decent registration system, as this just plainly unacceptable. what a waste. |
