Deleting Navigation Bar

I have a .fla where I am trying to delete the navigation bar, buttons and any
actions for the navigation. I deleted the navigation bar, then went into the
library and deleted the buttons, the bar, and the .png. For some reason after
I save the flash and export the movie I still get the navigation bar and
buttons.

Is there anything else I should do or am I doing something wrong?

perhaps these elements were placed within another MC that is still on the timeline? are they 'reappearing' in the Lib?

perhaps you've been 'saving' the file in another location?

Thank you, but they are not in the library any more, I checked to make sure it
is being saved in the correct directory and it is. However I think I need to
tell you that for some reason this was built using action script 1.0 which I
think was before Flash 8. I know Flash 8 used action script 2.0.

Could that be the problem? How would I check to see if they are in another MC
that is still on the timeline?

save and compact and clear your browser's cache if you're viewing the swf in your browser.

I am viewing this in my browser and after cleaning out the cookies, each browser I view it in still has the navigation bar and buttons on it.

cookies aren't a possible issue. clear your browser's cache.

I have gone into the browsers and cleaned the cache and it still is showing up.

did you upload the revised file to the server?

Have you published (or run) the file since removing the items? If not, then the pre-change swf is still in play.

Yes, I did both. If you go the the website www.trtent.com, you will see that
it still has the buttons at the top. It has them at the top in the FLA and on
the bottom is the html.
