Default Need to recreate two efx here

If you go to the url below after the signature and preloader you will see
photos changing. There is a button on the bottom left. When pressed it changes
the background color and the text. I tried to figure this out using a movie
clip but I cannot find how to change the background so I'm thinking there is a
layer that actually changes. Now the text part is really tricky and I need to
recreate these two parts.

After messing around a little I see this can probably be done with "add event"
by drawing a black rectangle the size of the stage and the button release will
make the black rectangle show on stage

Two questions here, how can I do this to make the button control the
background and the text color change like in the url?

I'm sure this can be done in AS2

anybody?

any help?

Thank you, I actually saw that tutorial and had it on the side but I will now
use that method. Now for the tricky part, I need to also change the color of
the text on the page as well sing the same button. I would think I could use
the same method but applying it to change a text color?

???????

That's what I was thinking might work... I never tried it, though. Good luck!

OK I have the actual swf now. I see that the menu on the left is part of an
xml page but the rest of the swf seems like this:

signature movie clip loads center level 1
nxt frame
full signature loads level 1 top left
name on top right loads level one 5 frames later
menu loads level 2
movie clip pics load level 3

rest of site loads in level 3 as everything else remains

I'm still trying to figure how to get the background and text to change with
the button. Original site and idea is
http://marissakaiser.com/

anybody?
