| I have both Flash 8 and CS3 currently installed on my system. I have created a flash movie using CS3, AS 3 and the Flash 9 player selected for publishing. When playing the published SWF file (outside the browser) the Flash 8 player seems to be invoked (according to the window title which reads: Macromedia Flash Player 8. In this mode, the movie does NOT play correctly. When played in a browser or testing the movie with control->test movie from within Flash, the movie plays fine. Is the Flash 8 player really being used instead of the Flash 9 player? If yes, how can I get the default player to be Flash 9? |

If > yes, how can I get the default player to be Flash 9? it is your default player setting, which can be easily changed. right click flash file - open with - browser and look for Flash 9 Player then set it, to "always use the selected program to open that kind of file" -- Best Regards Urami -- "Never play Leap-Frog with a Unicorn." <urami> If you want to mail me - DO NOT LAUGH AT MY ADDRESS </urami> |
