I have been searching on here, and elsewhere, for some help on this topic: I want to send out an email that will contain links to different sections of my site (frame labels), which is done in flash. I gather that I need to use flashvars, but I don't know how to use that function. Is there a good tutorial out there which explains how to do this? Thanks for any help!

What you're looking for is SWFAddress. It can be used in Flash apps to jump directly to a certain page. It can also be used with purely javascript pages that lack the same ability to jump to a specific section using only a new url. It also enables the back and forward buttons in the browser to actually work within a flash or javascript page. I believe some of the basic examples of SWFAddress in flash do exactly what you're asking and jump directly to different frame labels. I'd suggest checking it out and running some of their examples. http://www.asual.com/swfaddress/

Thanks, but I really do want to learn how to use the flashVars, since it can be useful for other things as well. I will keep looking for a tutorial, and if anyone out there knows of one, please let me know!
