Hey, I have been trying unsuccessfully to publish my movie in quicktime format. Everytime I do it gives me a error message saying quicktime requires flash player 5 or less. So I set publish settings to flash 5 but it still gives me the message! How can I fix this?

Which version of Flash are you using. No QT export worked correctly from any Flash prior to CS3.

I am using Flash Professional 8. Is there a way to convert a .swf file to a .mov file on a Mac?

Best bet would be to export an AVI and convert that using another software. I used to use Premiere because it was what I had, but Final Cut, After Effects, etc would work as well. Also, there should be plenty of free/shareware apps online that you can download to do it for you. But easier to go AVI to MOV, then SWF to MOV.
