Hello, I've tried several times, in several way to get the standard prevFrame and nextFrame script to work on some buttons, and I don't understand why this is not working, I never had this problem in CS3. I'm just wondering if there's a different part of the button I need to put it on? Or if it's a different section? I just really need a solution to go back and forth frames and navigate for a project. Thanks!

Hello, I've realised that the main problem is infact that I can't even get the button selected/recognised to add the code to... what am I doing wrong - I don't understand? It worked fine before, I've tried opening new documents and making a whole new button, it just keeps selecting the frame, not the button.

I tried as3 and as 1+2. I know a little bit as I did it last year on a course.

you should be using as2, not as3. if you use as2, you can attach code to objects (though that's not a good practice).
