Flash Audio only plays locally

This is a discussion on Flash Audio only plays locally within the Macromedia Flash forums in Adobe Tools category; I have a flash movie that is supposed to play audio when a button is clicked. It works when I have the file on my local machine (But the sound is faint) but when I upload it to run live the sound won't play. Both the swf and audio file are in the same directory on the server.
