Email delivered to Deleted items instead of inbox

  1. Default Email delivered to Deleted items instead of inbox

    hi,
We are running on Exchange 2003 SP1. Our users from our branch officeuse
outlook clients to connect to the mail server using VPN. Lately, some of
the email get delivered to the deleted items instead of the inbox items. I
have checked the rules that set by the outlook. But none of them has such
kind of settings. Is that something I can do in the server level or the
client level to resolve this? Please advise.

    Thanks

    Forina

Do you have a third party Antispam program that is configured to do this
    such as GFI Mail Essentials?

    hi,

We have Mcafee Anti-Spam running on Exchange. But all the spam email are
tagged and automactically goes to Junk Email. The email that got dumped to
deleted items folder are not tagged. This is the first time we have this
    problem. Please help.

    Thanks

Is this internet email or internal mail or both? Is this happening just for
    your Branch Office users?

  5. Default Re: Email delivered to Deleted items instead of inbox

This is happening on both internet and internal mail. The same sender can
be found sometimes in the inbox item and sometimes in the deleted items. It
varies. It's not just happening to the Branch office users. I found out
yesterday one of the user in the main office has the same problem as well.
They are both running on Outlook 2003.
