ExMerge in batch mode

  1. Default ExMerge in batch mode

I have been trying to get ExMerge to work in batch mode so I can run it
to back up a mailbox as a scheduled task each night.

    >From what I can tell from the log file, I am not using correct syntax

for the specifc database and mailbox I am extracting from.

Where do I go to get the true name for the mailbox and database (of
which I can put into the the files referenced in the INI file under
    "FileContainingListOfMailboxes" and "FileContainingListOfDatabases").
I assume I can use the ADSIEdit tool, but I am not sure what node I am
    supposed to use.

    Much appreciated!

    Daniel,

I've got exmerge running in a batch file. What I did was run the exmerge
program manually to select the mailboxes I wanted and then saved the
settings before exiting the program. Then you can just schedule the exmerge
task to run using exmerge.bat -b.The exmerge.ini file has all the settings.

    Hope this helps,
    Mary
