Address Lists

  1. Default Address Lists

I am currently moving mailboxes from Exchange 5.5 to exchange 2003 by
using the move mailbox wiazrd. I installed a exchange 2003 server into a
    exchange 5.5 site.

Once I moved the mailboxes to exchange 2003, and then log in as the
user into Outlook 2000 I still see the address books setup in exchange 5.5,
but no the address lists in exchange 2003. The mailbox has successfully move
dto the new exch 2003 server.

Should the user moved on to exchange 2003 still be able to see address
books in exchange 5.5. How can i get the configured exchange 2003 address
lists to be displayed in Outlook 2000 address books.

Also within exchange system manager whats the difference in creating
address lists in All address lists and All Global Address lists.

    Thanks

  2. Default Re: Address Lists

do you have and ADC configured? you will need to have one in place during
the time that you are moving your mailboxes to the 2003 server...when you
are all done, and you remove the 5.5 server, you can remove the ADC...

    Hi,

You will need to create new address lists in Exchange system manager.
