| Hi I have comeup with major problem suddenly where my outgoing queues of smtp in exchange 2000 sp3 getting filled up with massages. when client of the exchange (Outlook 2003)sends a mail to himself it will come to the queue and takes hours to recieve or rather not recieved. All services of the exchange server are runnig even I restarted server several times. I have two catelog server which are running on seperate two domain controllers. Is this happens becuase of a global catalog failure or some other issue? Also when I tried out using OWA it is never resolving address book names after checking, but all the globle address lists are displaying even in OWA. please help some one to sort out this issue ASAP Thank You Janaka Sampath |

| First, are the messages in your Message Queues legitimate mail or NDR's of a Spammers harvesting attack? If they are spammers attack then your message queues are getting bogged down. Do you have any Antispam protection in place? -- John Oliver, Jr MCSE, MCT, CCNA Exchange MVP 2007 Microsoft Certified Partner "Janaka Sampath" <janakaj@lankaequities.com> wrote in message news:eUOGFu7bHHA.588@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Hi > I have comeup with major problem suddenly where my outgoing queues of smtp > in exchange 2000 sp3 getting filled up with massages. when client of the > exchange (Outlook 2003)sends a mail to himself it will come to the queue > and > takes hours to recieve or rather not recieved. | Yes I have spam gaurd installed and there arn't any spam queues getting listed. Becuase my domain is a child domain wich route mails trough bridge head server at the head office. My concern is even local routing mails getting queued suddenly without any reason.
